Hieff Trans™ Liposomal Transfection Reagent - 40802ES
Hieff Trans™ Liposomal Transfection Reagent is a versatile liposome transfection reagent, suitable for DNA, RNA, and oligonucleotide transfection, with high transfection efficiency for most eukaryotic cells. Its unique formula allows it to be added directly to the medium, and the presence of serum does not affect transfection efficiency, which reduces the damage to cells caused by serum removal. There is no need to remove the nucleic acid-Hieff Trans™ complex or replace it with a fresh medium after transfection, and it can also be removed after 4-6 hours.
Hieff Trans™ is supplied in sterile liquid form. Usually, for 24-well plate transfection, about 1.5 μL each time, 1 mL of Hieff Trans™ can do about 660 transfections; for a 6-well plate, about 6 μL each time, 1 mL of Hieff Trans™ can do about 660 transfections. 160 transfections. Packaging size: 0.5 mL / 1 mL / 5×1 mL
Notes:
- During the transfection operation, it is better that the cell confluence reaches 70%-90%, and the specific plating density is determined according to the situation of the cells
- Preparation of transfection complexes requires dilution of DNA and transfection reagents in serum-free medium
- Antibiotics cannot be added to the medium during transfection
- The use of high-purity DNA or RNA helps to obtain higher transfection efficiency, and endotoxin in plasmids is the enemy of transfection
- The nucleic acid concentration and reagent volume should be optimized for the first use to obtain the maximum transfection efficiency
Hieff Trans™ in vitro siRNA/miRNA Transfection Reagent - 40806ES
Hieff Trans™ in vitro siRNA/miRNA Transfection Reagent is a PEI cationic, amphiphilic transfection reagent developed for the transfection of siRNA into mammalian cells. Suitable for transfection of siRNA and miRNA. This transfection reagent encapsulates siRNA or miRNA to form a cationic complex, which interacts with negatively charged proteoglycans on the cell surface and adsorbs on the cell surface, enters the cell through endocytosis, and forms an inclusion body. The transfection reagent acts as a proton sponge, which can absorb H+ in the lysosome, and the continuous influx of protons causes the complex to swell and rupture, thereby releasing the exogenous siRNA or miRNA into the cytoplasm.
This product can achieve over 90% expression efficiency of 1 nM siRNA in a wide range of cell lines, avoiding off-target effects. Suitable for transfection of a variety of cells, including Hela, MCF-7, HepG2, CHO, and other adherent cells; and difficult to transfect suspension cell lines, such as K562 or THP-1 cells, can achieve 80% silencing efficiency; Including some primary cells, primary human fibroblasts, and primary human hepatocytes, etc., the silencing efficiency of 80% can be achieved.
Packaging size: 0.5 mL / 1 mL

Polyethylenimine Linear (PEI) MW40000, rapid lysis - 40816ES
PEI 40000 is a highly charged cationic polymer with a molecular weight of 40,000 that binds negatively charged nucleic acid molecules very easily, forming a complex and allowing the complex to enter cells. PEI 40000 is a transient transfection reagent with low cytotoxicity, high transfection efficiency, and high gene expression efficiency in cells such as HEK293 and CHO.
PEI 40000 has many advantages over PEI 25000 Transfection Reagent. include:1. PEI 40000 is easy to dissolve and can be directly dissolved in water. PEI 25000 needs to first adjust the water to weak acid to help it dissolve, and then use NaOH to adjust the pH to neutral.2. PEI 40000 is easy to operate, easier to use, and has a better transfection effect than PEI 25000; 3. PEI 25000 contains 4-11% propionyl residues, which can prevent the polymer backbone from binding to DNA. Compared to PEI 25000, PEI 40000 is a complete shed construction, so its performance is consistently efficient.
This product is an instant type, which dissolves quickly and is easy to prepare. Polybrene (hexadimethrine bromide) - 40804ES
Polybrene (hexadimethrine bromide), also known as Polybrene, is a cationic polymer commonly used in DNA transfection experiments with mammalian cells to enhance the transfection efficiency of liposomes. It is widely employed in retrovirus-mediated gene transfection and lentivirus-mediated gene transfection. The mechanism of action may involve neutralizing the sialic acid on the cell surface, facilitating adsorption by overcoming electrostatic repulsion with virus particles. Polybrene is also recognized as an anticoagulant (heparin antagonist) and is frequently used in the production of non-specifically aggregated red blood cells. Additionally, in protein sequencing, low doses of Polybrene have been shown to significantly improve the degradation of peptides in automated sequencing analysis. The addition of Polybrene to PVDF membranes can also enhance membrane affinity.
The product is provided in solution form, and the powder is reconstituted in 0.9% NaCl to make a 10 mg/mL solution, which is then sterilized using a 0.22 μm filter. It is typically diluted at a ratio of 1:1000-1:2000 for use, with specific dilution ratios depending on the cell type, as outlined in relevant literature.
